Every year it is more important for Spanish growers to innovate in order to compete with other countries, like Morocco, Israel, Holland and Turkey. In some of these countries the labor costs are significantly lower, others have important advantages in technology or in growing methods. Also the water shortage in the south of Spain is getting more and more of an issue for the Spanish growers!

Innovation means investing in installations with for example, a higher reliability, and installations that are capable of controlling climate conditions more exactly or installations that need less labor to operate or repair them. Also some installations that until now were not thought of as necessary should be considered, for example recycling of irrigation water in order to save on water consumption.

   

The Stolze Group is the specialist in electrical, irrigation and heating installations for the modern horticulture, with more than 35 years of experience in horticultural projects and garden centre’s. During this time Stolze has grown into a nationally and internationally operating company with more than 85 full time employees.
